The London address of world renowned contemporary art gallery, Marian Goodman Gallery, is located at Golden Square in Soho. It occupies the ground and first floor levels of a Grade II listed building. The project involved the careful restoration and conversion of a former wool merchant’s warehouse into a series of exhibition spaces suitable for the changing display of contemporary art.

The design explores the fine balance between heritage and contemporary minimalist architectural languages.

In his role as Project Architect at Adjaye Associates, Artison led the scheme from inception to completion on site.

Since the gallery’s opening to the public in late 2014, it has exhibited the work of internationally renowned artists such as Gerhard Richter, Giuseppe Penone, William Kentridge and Gabriel Orozco.
