Hans Joachim Schellnhuber is one of the leading scientists when it comes to climate change. He is instrumental in the New European Bauhaus, the creative and interdisciplinary initiative by the European Commission that connects the European Green Deal to our living spaces and experiences.

Schellnhuber indentifies timber as the key material in reducing carbon emissions from the built environment.

60's house overhaul

Our proposal for a major overhaul of a 60’s family residence within the Highgate conservation area has been granted planning permission. The scheme focuses on improving the existing spaces, spatial relationships and environmental performance of the 4 bedroom house.

 

MEZCAL BAR

We are extremely excited to start the designs for a Mezcal bar in Bangkok. Mezcal is an alcoholic beverage made from the Agave plant. The word ‘Mezcal’ originates from the Aztec and translates to ‘roasted Agave’.

 

INNER CITY DENSIFICATION

We have begun concept studies for a 1 ha site in central Bangkok, which will contain private houses as well as workspace

 

LOW CARBON HOLIDAY HOME

We're currently working on a number of private holiday residences in Thailand and are exploring construction methods involving less embodied carbon. Our design aids in minimising energy use, through shading and optimised cross ventilation, keeping the building cooler throughout the day.
